“flexsquares” is an interactive piece that experiments with the connection between the digital and the tactile. Flex sensors are installed in two gloves attached to an Arduino which control the “player’s” color, located at the bottom of the screen. A randomly generated color is shown at the top of each side of the screen. The goal of each player is to match their color to the color at the top. Once the player does this they are to press a button that is installed in the thumb of each glove. This scores them a few points. Once a player reaches 25 points, the game is over.
